today's outfit was requested by my workmate Kerri who is off on a pacific cruise next week. We're all incredibly jealous that she'll be basking in the sunshine while we're stuck at work in our jumpers and long pants.

Work Outfit Challenge - Day 132.

Have just finished catching up on the Gingerbread challenge from Masterchef on Thursday night ... man, I so want to eat it Reminds me though that I've broken up with one of the most important aspects of my life until the wedding.

Lollies.

I seriously have a problem when it comes to lollies. If I am at the grocery store or Kmart or Big W you will RARELY see me leave without at least a bag or two of my favourite sweets. And more often than not I will finish a whole bag. So, I'm being VERY committed and have not wavered just yet ... imagine how good the lollies will taste from the lolly buffet at the wedding - definitely something to look forward to.

Work Outfit Challenge - Day 131.

In 3 months I will become Mrs Bourke ... scary but exciting at the same time. I think we now have everything organised which is a welcome relief. I'm sure these three months are going to FLY BY! I know a lot of you girls are getting married around the same time as me ... how are your preps going?

On to other things ...The thrill of online shopping is only fully realised when your parcel arrives and you unwrap it to reveal your goodies inside. Yesterday I got home and was greeted by a small box from clearly contacts containing my new geek glasses ... which I only paid the shipping and insurance for - a whole $13-ish. Pretty happy with them although they aren't as crisp as I would expect them to be ... but I'm not going to complain.

Working a half day today and going to visit some of the op shops I rarely get to visit which aren't open on Saturdays. I'm looking forward to a weekend filled with yummy food, nice wine, shopping, make up, hairdos, maybe some alco-pops and some rug cutting (dancing for those of you totally confused).

What are you anticipating/looking forward to this weekend?

If you look closely the right front has a multiplication sign, the left a division sign and each arm has an equals sign ... I'd totally get in to the mathletes with these babies except for that fact that I am a total maths dumbass.

The boy and I are off to Cold Chisel one week before the wedding at the Sunshine Coast. It will be nice to do something together and get the opportunity to relax right before the wedding (and hopefully improve my tan!)

Work Outfit Challenge - Day 130.

Day 130 brings a bit of colour blocking to you all. I picked up this blazer at the monthly Salvos $5 fill a bag sale and even though it is at least two sizes too big I couldn't leave it behind because of the amazing colour. I've got to say bright yellow and blue are the perfect compliment and I've loving the look.

What else can I blab about today?

• my engagement ring is in at the jewellers for them to make my wedding ring!!!
• our e-shoot is featured in the spring edition of QLD brides magazine ... page 241 if you're interested
• a new staff member checked out the magazine and asked if I'd lost weight since the shoot ... i always love hearing things like that so THANKS Rachel!

Work Outfit Challenge - Day 128.

This morning I firstly would like to do a massive shout out to my readers ... whether you are a follower or not, do know that I am honoured that anyone cares about what I have to say/wear/buy. And hooray for reaching 60 followers! Onwards and upwards I say.

I walked to work this morning and actually really enjoyed it. It's about a 30-35 minute walk and if I want, I can tackle a pretty decent hill (which I did this morning) so I'm feeling very accomplished.

Sporting a vintage dress today which is in THE most perfect condition ... all my photos turned out really blurry today so hopefully you can sort of see the beautiful pleats and pattern in this pearler.

Excited that my sis (and maybe one of my b-maids) is coming to visit this weekend! Shopping, hairdos, makeup, wine and friends. What better way to spend a weekend.

AND, check out some of the beautiful crockery that has added to my collection recently. I picked up some of it but big thanks to mama and grandma for picking up so many beautiful English pieces at the Nambour swap meet on the weekend. Meakin galore and OH SO PRETTY.

Aloha peeps. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good although I was nursing a bit of a hangover headache from a spontaneous night out on Saturday night.

Totally boring outfit today courtesy of my no-care attitude after boxing class and taking the rock dog for a walk this morning. Quite clearly I didn't give two shits about my hair either!
