hey all. How are we this fine LAST DAY OF WINTER?! I am fine and dandy and am cheering that tomorrow marks the first day of spring (and mum's birthday) and the terrifying countdown to the big day!

No real thoughts went in to today's outfit. Plain, simple and boring but I did want to wear my fave ralphy jumper before the end of winter.

Op Shop Finds ... End of Winter 2011 Edition

As I mentioned yesterday I hit the jackpot on the weekend at my local Salvos store picking up a good collection of vintage dresses presumably from the same lady.

Today I'm sporting a totally typical granny frock as my grandad used to call them. I showcased this dress months ago in flea market finds and have only had it recently taken up by none other than my favourite grandma in the whole wide world, Joyce.

Work Outfit Challenge - Day 146.

Hello all on this glorious countdown to Spring.

Saturday's weather was horrible (read, raining basically all day) but didn't put me off some of my habitual bargain hunting. I got some lovely things and hit the jackpot at Salvos where I picked up about 5 vintage dresses. I'm guessing they all came from the same lady's closet and the colours and patterns are AMAZING! I'll share these goodies tomorrow.

Saturday night was spent with a great bunch of girls for a hens night and yesterday we went to Leyburn Sprints ... a car meet for a whole range of cars. The weather was so, so nice and I actually managed to strip down to a singlet and shorts and even got a little burnt. Hints of spring are already appearing. YAY!

Oh, and I picked up my wedding ring and it is PERFECT. Paul Hogan at Hogan's Jewellers Toowoomba did a fabulous job at designing and making the ring to fit in with my less-than-traditional engagement ring.

Super quick post this morning before I dash off to training to learn all about our university's brand. I was convinced to go when I learnt we get freebies and food!

I've been very naughty lately online and MUST stop (for a break) lol. I have some VERY exciting purchases which you'll all get to see in the near future. I also get to go pick up my wedding ring this afternoon! Can't wait to see it as they had to make it to fit with my engagement ring.

This post is coming in a bit late today. I'm once again crunching numbers at work which requires my full attention so I'm just breaking for a short time to do my daily post.

Seems I've been feeling a little mellow yellow this week as the colour has appeared predominantly in my outfits in the last couple of days.

Did anyone manage to resist the extra 20% off code that asos so graciously sent us earlier in the week? Me, well no.

Before I get to showing you my somewhat boring outfit for today can I just say how much I adored Bec's wedding dress on Winners and Losers last night. It is absolutely stunning and I imagine it would cost a fortune. The veil and dress were designed and handcrafted by J'Aton.

Work Outfit Challenge - Day 142.

Today I'm wearing a vintage dress I picked up near Byron Bay ... it was one of those items you see when you're about to leave the shop empty handed and think you might like it. It's like you'd prefer to leave with something than nothing. Or is that just me?

Anyway, I adore the colour and all it needed was shorter hem and voila! Thank you granny!
