Yay, it's Friday! I frocked up today but kind of didn't really give a frock what I wore today. Something simple and light and perfect for spring! I took these precious photos myself today ... as if you couldn't tell!

Work Outfit Challenge - Day 141.

Today I'm going to take some of you back in time. Back to the time when tencel was high on the wish list of every tween ... and before that term even came into existence. A trip to Just Jeans with mum would always result in a request for the newest tencel product on the market. I was super lucky to have a pair of light denim jeans AND, wait for it ... a pair of black tencel long overalls.

How stylin' was I?

I was DEVASTATED when a classmate from primary school decided he would be cool and give me a wedgie at a grade eight social. My oh-so-cool overalls ripped and I think I cried. Yep, I was more upset about my beloved overalls being broken than getting a wedgie in front of a whole bunch of my peers.

Oh, in case you are totally confused, I'll let you in on the tencel connection. These new additions to my wardrobe (the pants) are 100% tencel baby. Oddly, though they don't feel as soft and flowy (oh, and COOL) as the ones I sported back in 1996.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

This morning I received an email in my inbox with the subject 'winner winner chicken dinner'... immediate thought - WTF and then, oh it must be spam.

But no, it was not spam. It was telling me I'd won a giveaway on the broke ass bride - a wedding stationery pack from Esty seller BonMoment!

My prize includes save-the-date postcards, 5X7 wedding invites, 50 matching envelopes, RSVP postcards, menu cards, and wedding programs and we can pick the design.

I think our (my) pick will be the Spicy Papel Picado set although the Classy Mustache Set would look cute in a different colour.

the bonus is you can choose from a large range of colours too!

YAY! The only slight issue we have is that we'd discussed using a photo from the e-shoot on our invitations. I wonder if our prize would stretch that far to incorporate a photo because we will not need the save-the-dates. Even if it doesn't how awesome! I'm rapt!
