Work Outfit Challenge - Day 43 and yes, I'm a rock star

So, I guess you're all wondering when I became a rock star? Well, drum roll please .....

DSC02749Love (FYI that is a pathetic attempt at a heart in the photo above) that our e-shoot photos were featured on Green Wedding Shoes - an awesome and BIG time wedding blog in the states. The blog's writer had me at her first sentence:

When Darren from Ck Metro Photography shared this adorable engagement session, I was speechless.

Then there's the comments that readers have made thus far:

yep. pretty much impossible to top that. they win the most-vintage-everything-ever award. insanely cute :) love it.

I would make a list of things I love but a list of what I don’t is shorter: Yep. the list is blank.

Such an amazing shoot! I love the engagement ring photo, and all the settings!

So beautiful! and I LOVE HER RING!

Go check out the post here. A big congrats again to Darren, Loren and Erin for having your amazing work published on the international stage!

We may or may not also be featured on an Australian blog real soon ... stay tuned!

I picked up this adorable jumpsuit in Vietnam. The bloody salesgirl in the shop followed my every move as if I was some sort of crim and insisted that I was a size L or XL. I think she was actually right ... ladies, if you go to Vietnam you've got to try not to be offended when people either make fun of your size or tell you flat out that you won't fit into anything they sell. Yep, that happened to me and I am just a regular size 10-12!

I thought I might do a jumping off the seat photo today since I'm wearing appropriate clothing - no undies showing in this post!

Attempt 1, 2 and 3 ... fail. Success at looking like an absolute goose.

Attempt 4 ..... SUCCESS!

Mum told me yesterday that there is a massive trash and treasure sale on at Toowoomba's most ritzy girls school on Sunday. Plus, I may have convinced the boy to stop at a garage sale at Lowood on the way home from Brisbane on Saturday morning (we're off to watch the footy on Friday night - the real footy - Broncos vs Cowboys NRL season opener) ...

The ad reads:

vintage tools, furniture, crystal, old china, model trains, lots of bric-a- brac and lots lots more

How could we not stop?

Can't wait!

Over and Out

XOXO
