Happy Monday readers! How was your weekend?
Mine was quite fulfilling really. We watched some movies Friday night, went to Brisbane to check out my sis and her partner's new pad, checked out Wet n Wild, had some Mexican food, a little sangria and topped it off with some gardening.
Surf Rider at Wet n Wild ... The boys were holding the bags hehee Dinner at Cactus Jack's at Logan Hydperdome Saturday night
One of our awesome engagement presents was a $100 Bunnings voucher but in NO way are we green thumbs. Case in point ... Gardening 101. READ the information on the plant before getting to the register.
We kind of joked about getting to the register and realising we had bought the wrong type of plants but didn't really think that would ACTUALLY happen. Turns out one of the plants we bought is actually designed for the indoors! We bought two pinky-red plants for the garden bed right by the house, the indoor plant, some very well established mint, greek basil and oregano, some rosemary and a couple of bags of potting mix. We're hoping we don't manage to kill them all. Even if we manage to keep something alive our gardening will have been a success.
I got these pants shopping with sissy on Saturday at Valley Girl and think they are awesome. I rarely ever go in to ValleyGirl and have been wondering when I turned in to such a snob! I mean I'll buy people's second hand clothes and homewares but won't go in to one of those perceived 'lower quality' stores unless I'm desperate. For $15, even if I get a few wears out of these they will have been worth it.
